What Antigrav is
Antigrav is a one-button space runner that plays in your browser. Your craft flies down a corridor that scrolls by itself, with gravity pulling it toward either the floor or the ceiling. Tap and gravity reverses. Hold and an attraction field switches on, slowing your fall and pulling red coins toward you.
The twist is in the walls. Touching the floor or ceiling does not destroy you: the wall flips your gravity and throws you back across the corridor. A hit on a wall that slopes away from you even turns the impact into extra forward speed. The things that end a run are the hazards in between: spikes, blocks, pillars, darts, falling blocks, saws, lasers and crushers. The game's own tagline sums it up: hit the wall, go faster.
The goal
The campaign is twenty handmade levels, from Low Orbit to Singularity. Every level has a fixed layout, so each attempt teaches you the next one. Each level offers three stars:
- Reach the finish.
- Collect every red coin: five on Easy, eight on Hard.
- Free the caged star by charging a key in the level's anchor pocket, then fly into the star.
Finishing a level with any number of stars unlocks the next. Your star total, out of 60, sets your rank, from Lead up to Apex. Red coins also pay bullion, which buys new crafts with their own perks. Alongside the campaign there is a Daily course that is the same for every player on a given date, and an Endless mode with no finish line.
Your first five minutes
- Press Play Campaign. Level 1, Low Orbit, has a wide corridor and only simple hazards. Leave the difficulty on Easy for now.
- Just survive the first run. Do not tap to get off walls; the walls send you back by themselves. Tap only to change direction in mid-air, away from whichever wall the hazards are on.
- Watch the objectives box in the top-right corner. It shows how far through the level you are, your red coins so far and the bonus star.
- When you crash, keep going. The level usually restarts by itself within a second and shows how far you got, so you can try again without touching a menu.
- Once you can finish, go after the red coins. They sit on the hazard side of the corridor. Arc toward them from the safe side, or hold the button to pull them in.
- Then try the anchor pocket. About a third of the way in, fly into the glowing zone and hold. The world freezes, a ring fills, and a key flies to you. The cage further on is now open.
Each level is short, so these steps take minutes rather than hours. When level 1 has three stars, the play button moves you on to the next level that still has stars to earn.

The flip happens the instant you press, with no delay. If you keep holding for a fraction of a second longer, the field switches on as well, so a hold always starts with a flip. The gear icon opens Settings, with music and sound volume, Off, Low and Full levels for screen shake and flash effects, and the difficulty switch. Opening Settings or tapping the bullion counter during a run ends that run, so do it between attempts.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. It runs in the browser with no download and no account.
Where is my progress saved?
In your browser, on the device you play on. Stars, unlocked levels, bullion, crafts, awards and settings are all kept there, so clearing your browser's site data, or playing on another device, starts you fresh. Settings has a Reset Progress button; it asks for a second tap within four seconds before it wipes anything.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The whole game is one button, so a tap anywhere on the play area does everything a key press does. The playfield is a tall column, so it suits a phone held upright.
How long is it?
Each level takes roughly ten to thirteen seconds of flying on Easy, and about two and a half times that on Hard. The length of the campaign is really the number of attempts it takes you: finishing all twenty levels is quick for a practised player, while three-starring all twenty on Hard is a long project. The Daily gives you three attempts a day, and Endless runs until you crash.
What does Hard change?
Longer, faster levels with bigger and denser hazards, eight red coins instead of five, and access to the event horizon, a slow-motion window that opens when your eighth coin fills your mass. Stars count the same on either difficulty.
I missed a red coin. Will it come round again?
No. A missed red coin is gone for that attempt, so the coin star needs a clean run. You can still finish the level and take the caged star.
